Upazila Social Service Office, Sarail, is a regional level office of Brahmanbaria Department of Social Services. The Department of Social Services is one of the nation building departments of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Providing services to the population. By turning these targeted communities into human resources, the Department of Social Services is playing an important role in the overall development of the country by providing poverty alleviation and social security. Upazila Social Service Office, Sarail, Brahmanbaria as a representative of the Department of Social Services at the Upazila level using its resources and existing infrastructure and manpower in the last financial year. Education allowance has been provided to 9386 elderly beneficiaries, 2735 widows and husbands abused women beneficiaries and 5792 indigent disabled beneficiaries and 146 disabled students. 184 Dalit harijans are beneficiaries of backward communities.
Hijra beneficiaries, 6 Dalit Harijans have paid education allowances directly to 51 students as mn beneficiary's bank. Has completed issuance of ID cards to 6020 persons with disabilities. In the current financial year, all the beneficiaries under the upazila will be given allowance through e-payment system.
